Highlights of the Week
Annual Kindergarten World Soccer Cup — While the entire school cheered them on, our kindergarteners played three friendly soccer games to celebrate the culmination of their World Tour unit of study. In this unit, students studied continents and countries across the world. They focused on nine countries, learning about their respective cultures and things they are famous for such as the castles of Germany, camels of Egypt, cherry tree blossoms of Japan and the rain forest of Brazil.

Fifth Graders Study Living Systems — The students in Mr. Miles 5th grade classroom are in the process of completing the final investigation of their Living Systems Science Unit. The focus question our students have been discussing throughout this unit is “How do plants get their food?”
