January Principal Points of Interest

Dear Evergreen Academy Montessori Families,

Happy New Year! I hope that you were able to enjoy your holidays. If you are like me you were able to take advantage and get some time with your household, lesson the hustle and bustle, and take time for some rest and relaxation.

We can’t wait to spend 2021 with you and your children. Thank you to all who participated in our holiday giving initiative last month. All of your generosity toward our Giving Tree partnership with Eastside Baby Center was out of this world. We had such fun loading up all the presents and making the delivery.

Our school is growing. This winter we are welcoming new students in all our programs! With this growth and rebuilding we are also welcoming in new staff. This month we welcome Ms. Daisy, Mr. Patrick to our Pre-Montessori and Primary Montessori programs. We also are excited to welcome the return of Ms. Kristi!

In today’s connected world, many families turn to online reviews to learn more about the reputation of schools. Just a reminder that you can find our school on Facebook, Google, Yelp and other online directories. We’d love more families like yours, so please consider spreading the word about our school.

If you’re not currently receiving photos and daily reports for your child, you can easily change this by downloading the Links 2 Home app on your phone. Just type ‘Links 2 Home’ in the search bar for the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. After downloading Links 2 Home you can register with the same email address that you used to enroll your child in our school.

Do you have a different email address or phone number? Need to add or remove an emergency contact? You can do this at any time in Alma. Alma is a great resource to parents when preparing for tax season, changing automatic checking information, and reviewing open invoices. If you need help logging in or accessing the system, please let us know.

Reminder:

No School – Monday, January 18th in observance of Martin Luther King Day

Warm Regards,
