Kindergarten
At Evergreen Academy since 2017

Education:

Experience:
Before coming to Evergreen Academy, I taught Private Kindergarten at KinderCare for three years. I also taught Preschool, School-age before/after school, and the summer camp program for 10 years. Working in early childhood education gave me the opportunity to work with children from birth to school-age and gain experience teaching all ages.

Passions & Interests:
I have a love and passion for teaching children. I desire to see children grow to their fullest potential and to encourage them to follow their dreams and interests. A little about me: My Husband Alex and I love to watch movies, go camping, try new restaurants, and explore new places. My personal interests are reading, traveling, visiting the ocean, and all things Disney/Pixar.

Distance Learning

Our Kindergarten team will send a newsletter each Friday which will outline our learning objectives for the week ahead. This is a challenging time for everyone, but it also provides us the opportunity to learn something new. You will see that most of the activities included in this plan will be familiar to you and your child, but sometimes we will have the chance to try new things. As you know, this would never work without us partnering together. We appreciate your time and commitment to further your child’s learning during these unprecedented circumstances.

We will continue to have our office hours from 9:00 to 10:00 each day. During this time, send an email and we will get back to you quickly. If you would like to arrange some one-on-one time for us to help your child with work, we can schedule a live Zoom meeting. Just email your teacher to set up a time and she will send you a Zoom link.

Just like you, we a missing being together and seeing the kids each day. It helps so much to hear their voices and see their faces in some of the assignment submissions. Thank you and we look forward to the continued learning!

*Please Note:*

All weekly Distance Learning Plans (DLPs) will be posted by the end of the day Friday the week before. You will find all the necessary links for the week, in the plan. However, links to all of our core resources can be found in the Resources section below.
