National Hispanic Heritage Month
National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15 to October 15. Books are an easy and interactive way to expand your child’s awareness and appreciation of Hispanic culture. We’ve gathered three stories to read with your child: Isabel and Her Colores Go To School by Alexandra Alessandri, Frida Kahlo and her Animalitos by Monica Brown, and Where are you from? by Yamile Saied Mendez. We will also making fun crafts to add to our celebration.
