American Montessori Society (AMS) – Accreditation by the AMS is the gold standard of Montessori school excellence, the highest level of recognition a Montessori school can achieve. This accreditation means that our school meets and can sustain the rigorous standards recognized by Montessori educators worldwide and sets us on a path of ongoing evaluation, professional development, improvement and quality assurance.
Middle States Association Commission on Elementary & Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS)– MSA-CESS respects the individual nature and character of each school. Although all schools with accreditation meet the same standards, there is flexibility for schools to demonstrate that they meet standards in different ways. MSA-CESS evaluates the whole school, not just test scores. Schools are assessed in 12 key areas: mission, governance and leadership, school improvement planning, finances, facilities, staff, health and safety, educational program, assessment and evidence of student learning, student services, student life and activities, and information resources.
