Evergreen Academy, a Nobel Learning School in Bothell, Washington
Jeanine Lipp
Art Specialist
At Evergreen Academy since 1993
Education: Certified in Early Childhood Education 1986, Orange Coast College, Costa Mesa California; ongoing art education enrichment at Gage Academy, Seattle. Self taught artist, actor, musician, and author.
Experience: I began teaching Pre-K in 1977 in Huntington Beach, California and continued for sixteen years. After moving to the Seattle area in 1993, I began working at Evergreen Academy where I served as Co-Director of the Woodinville location for one year. At the Bothell location, my love and talent for the arts was noticed by the principal and I was asked to teach Music, Drama, and Visual Art. I created and implemented a successful curriculum in each subject, making it possible to teach my passion –the Arts.
Passions & Interests: I enjoy teaching the Arts and opening creative doors for children they never dreamed possible. I hope my enthusiasm for the Arts fosters a lifelong interest in this fun and fascinating subject in all of my students. I continue my own education in Art at Gage Academy and volunteer at the Seattle Art Museum and the Bellevue Art Museum. I am the author of the Young Adult fantasy novel “Introverse”; a journey of self-discovery and personal empowerment. I am avid reader and have a membership in the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and regularly attend the annual International Writer’s Conference in Surrey, British Columbia.
